It looks like the gang from ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ will be getting a visit from hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in the upcoming season.
Combs will start filming his guest role on Monday, reports Hollywood Reporter. No details about Combs’ guest role or which episode he will appear in have been released.
Already a rapper, producer, clothing designer and entrepreneur; it seems that Combs has also been bitten by the acting bug.
He had a very funny turn in 2010’s ‘Get Him to the Greek,’ acting alongside Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. In the film, Combs plays a menacing record executive and manages to hold his own opposite comedic heavyweights Brand and Hill.
Combs has also made recent TV appearances on ‘Hawaii Five-O’ and ‘CSI: Miami.’
FX has picked up ‘Always Sunny’ for an eighth and ninth season. Season eight premieres Thursday, October 11 on FX.
