‘Breaking Bad’ star Bryan Cranston has signed on to direct an upcoming episode of ‘The Office’.

NBC confirmed the appointment after Rainn Wilson (who plays Dwight Schrute) tweeted a photo of Cranston sitting on his lap, along with the message “Free meth for The Office! (look who’s directing…).”

Cranston is well versed in directing, having recently directed an episode of Modern Family. He also directed seven episodes of the insanely popular Fox series Malcolm in the Middle, which wrapped production in 2006, and a few episodes of his own show ‘Breaking Bad.’

Cranston’s role in ‘Breaking’ has already won him three Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and a fourth nomination in the same category for this year’s ceremony.

The ninth season of ‘The Office’ kicks off on September 20, with Cranston’s episode, titled “Work Bus”, due to air on October 18.
