The CW‘s successful young adult drama ‘Vampire Diaries’ has released new promotional posters in anticipation of the show’s upcoming third season.
After releasing a few teaser trailers earlier in the week, fans of the show were graced with images of main cast members: Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, and Joseph Morgan.
The series, based on the successful books by L.J. Smith, follows the female protagonist Elena (Dobrev) and her love triangle between two vampire brothers, Damon (Somerhalder) and Stefan (Wesley) and their countless misfortunes in Mystic Falls, Virgina.
Morgan joined the cast in the second season as one of the main antagonists, Klaus, one of the oldest vampires in the series.
The third season is scheduled to premiere on September 15, 2011 at 8/7c on The CW.
