CNN will take a different approach to their weekend schedule in 2013.

The 24-hour cable news network will be adding some more adventurous cable programming with famed documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock‘s new show Inside Man, alongside cult chef personality Anthony Bourdain’s brand new show.

Spurlock is best known as the man behind the Super Size Me documentary, where he at at McDonald’s restaurants three times per day for month, and tracking changes in his health.

Inside Man, according to the Chicago Tribune, “will delve into American subcultures, highlighting the lives of gun lovers, pot growers and end-of-life caregivers, among others. Spurlock and his shingle Warrior Poets will produce the docuseries.”

Last May it was announced that Bourdain would be moving from his regular slot on the Travel Channel to CNN, effectively ending his long-running show No Reservations, which enters its ninth and final season September 3. The new show will apparently fit the mold of No Reservations, but not exactly. No title for Bourdain’s new show has been released as of yet.

Each show will premiere in 2013, airing during Sunday prime time hours.
