The line-up for the 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been revealed.
Word of the line-up hit Twitter and Facebook minutes ago with the simple words “psst… pass it on #Coachella2012”. It took just 20 minutes for the hashtag ‘#Coachella2012’ to become a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.
Check the image below to see the full line-up full line-up (click for a larger image). Leading the charge at Coachella 2012 will be Radiohead, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Arctic Monkeys, Justice, Bon Iver, Girl Talk, and The Black Keys.
Others sure to cause a buzz also include: Childish Gambino, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Flux Pavillion, and Datsik.
This year also marks the third year rappers will be headlining the festival, with the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye West both taking the top spot in previous years.
Coachella one of the leading alternative music festivals in North America. Taking place in the city of Indio, on the outskirts of the California Desert, it was once dubbed “Burning Man for normal people” as te the festival showcases the rising stars of the art and sculpture world alongside major musical talent in a three-day event.
This year, the festival will take place over two separate weekends with identical line-ups on April 13-15, and April 20-22 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 13 at 10am PST.
