Popular British singer/rapper Estelle has released her much awaited ‘AOM: The Prequel’ mixtape today.

Sources close to the ‘American Boy’ singer suggested that the mixtape will be released late next week, however Estelle surprised fans by releasing it today with little fanfare.

Announcing the mixtape on twitter, Estelle said: “So #mydarlings that mixtape I was talmbout? Drops 2morow @datpiff @DonCannon and me. #AomThePrequel DL immediately.”

The mixtape features 12 tracks, 10 of which being new and previously unreleased, alongside two ‘Break My Heart’ remixes which hit the scene earlier this summer.

The consensus amongst the artist’s fans is that the stand-out track on the mixtape is ‘Remember Me’, which was produced by Miykal Snoddy and Da Internz.

As indicated the in the title, the mixtape serves as the prequel to Estelle’s upcoming album ‘All of Me’ (AOM), which is due for release later this year.
