After winning an Emmy award for their first season, the cast of Abbott Elementary is ready to play hooky once more. The cast of Abbott Elementary was in Los Angeles on Sunday morning to celebrate the start of production on the show’s second season.

The group was at Player One, an arcade bar in North Hollywood, to chat about their upcoming season. Since it premiered in December 2021, the show has become one of the most critically acclaimed television shows on ABC.

The show follows the teachers and administrators of Abbott Elementary in Philadelphia as they face various challenges, such as the lack of resources and the latest TikTok challenge. Created by Quinta Brunson, the show has become Hollywood’s new “It” girl. In 2022, she landed on the list of the most influential people in the world.

Aside from being able to gain widespread popularity, the show was also nominated for seven Emmy awards. Some of the individuals who helped it win were the cast and writers. The cast got a couple of hours to put the teacher’s lounge back in their car’s rear view mirror. They then went to the arcade to play their favorite games.

In one of the games, Tyler James Williams’ character Gregory tries to run the other way when he sees Principal Ava (Janelle James). However, as they dance to the music of Janet Jackson’s “Dance Dance Revolution,” they have a great time. James is sporting bedazzled heels and is constantly dancing around Williams.

Lisa Ann Walter, who plays the Italian Melissa, is playing the video game Guitar Hero. Chris Perfetti, who plays Jacob, is in a game of Mario Kart. On the other hand, new series regulars William Stanford Davis and Barbara Howard are having a great time playing Street Fighter.

The cast members of Abbott Elementary were having a great time on the first day of production for the show’s second season. Since they couldn’t enjoy a night out without being mobbed, they decided to go to the arcade to play some games. Before they started playing, the group took a look at the syllabus for the upcoming season.
