Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will share hosting duties at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony.

The two funny ladies will be taking the place of Ricky Gervais, who hosted the Globes the last three years, announced Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

“The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action,” said Takla-O’Reilly, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Neither actress is a stranger to live TV. Both Poehler and Fey were regulars on ‘Saturday Night Live’ before branching off to scripted television and film roles.

Fey’s sitcom ’30 Rock’ is in its final season and Poehler stars in NBC’s ‘Parks and Recreation.’

Gervais’ three-year run as Golden Globes host was filled with controversy because he was not shy about making celebrities (especially those in attendance) the butt of his jokes. Hopefully Fey and Poehler will continue his tradition of verbally skewering celebrities.

In addition to sharing the stage on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ the comic duo have also acted together in ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘Baby Mama.’
