Former ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ and ‘The OC’ actor Johnny Lewis was found dead Wednesday morning in the Los Feliz area in Los Angeles after falling to his death.
Reports indicate the 28-year-old actor had a confrontation with several men after attacking and possibly killing an 81-year-old woman. Lewis was renting his apartment from the elderly woman.
Lewis had broken into the home of the woman and used a 2×4 to attack the other men trying to hold him back. He fell off the roof several moments afterward. Authorities indicate that Lewis was on some kind of drug, possibly PCP or meth.
‘Sons Of Anarchy’ creator Kurt Sutter took to Twitter this morning to speak on the death, which unfortunately wasn’t a shock to him.
“not sure if folks know this yet, but johnny lewis (halfsack) died last night. the sad irony of it happening two days after opie’s death is not lost on me. it was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way. i wish i could say that i was shocked by the events last night, but i was not. i am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path. yes, it’s day or mourning, but it’s also a day of awareness and gratitude. sadly, some of us carry the message by dying.”
The investigation is ongoing whether or not Lewis is directly responsible for the death of the woman.
