Jaden Smith has revealed the music video for his latest song, “The Coolest.”

The new song is taken from his upcoming mixtape ‘The Cool Cafe,’ which will be available to download for free from Datpiff.com on October 1.

The video sees the young entertainer walk the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Featuring colorful graffiti and visually appealing camera movements, the video acts almost as a counterbalance to the laid-back beat and vocal style used by Smith on the track.

“The Coolest” is the third track to be released from Jaden’s upcoming mixtape, following “Pumped Up Kicks (Like Me),” and “Gonzoes.”

After the video was released, “The Coolest” set off a mini-controversy when it was revealed the group that made the beat used on the track, The Stuyvesants, were not credited for their work. The issue was resolved yesterday, with the group due to receive credit in the liner notes of ‘The Cool Cafe.’

Jaden, the 14-year-old son of Will Smith, is due to appear alongside is father in a new sci-fi film called ‘After Earth.’ Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the film is due for release on June 7, 2013.
