Pop superstar Adele doesn’t take kindly to being offered North American beer, it has been revealed.
Exposé website The Smoking Gun have published Adele’s tour rider, which details the singer’s requirements for every gig. One of the singer’s main after-show requirements: 12 bottles of the “best quality European lager beer. ie Becks, Stella Artois, Peroni etc.”
She is quick to point out, however, that “North American beer is NOT acceptable” before also requesting two bottles of the “very best quality red wine” after every show.
The 23-year-old also appears to have a penchant for American chocolate and cigarettes, requesting various chocolate bars such as Twix & Mars bars, and a pack of Marlboro lights after every show.
The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ star’s smoking habit is said to be a contributing factor to the her recent throat issues, caused by benign polyps on her vocal cords. The singer recently underwent surgery to remove the polyps, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Adele was said to be “lost for words’ after being told of her six Grammy nominations.
