Kat Von D, 29-year-old reality star of the show ‘L.A. Ink,’ has recently found herself in the spotlight for a reason other than her tattooing talent.

Von D announced last summer she was dating 42- year- old Jesse James, founder of West Coast Choppers. Since then the couple has not only become engaged, but they have also called off the engagement.

Naturally, when Von D agreed to an interview with ‘Good Day L.A.,’ Jesse came up. The tattoo artist didn’t take it so well. She left the set immediately following a clip of herself and Jesse James. The clip featured Von D presenting James with her new tattoo– a childhood picture of his face.

Von D shouldn’t have been surprised by the footage, however. For one thing, it is set to air on her show, ‘L.A. Ink.’ For another, the only topic she requested not to discuss during the interview was James’ ex-wife, Sandra Bullock. James and Bullock divorced in 2010 following the exposure of James’ affair with another woman.

In response to her walk-out, Von D tweeted the following: “Dear Good Day LA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for each other never fails to dissapoint me.”

Though Kat has chosen not to comment about why they broke up, James has stated long-distance took its toll on the relationship. Reports of a possible other woman, yet again, may also have had something to do with the couple’s decision.

You can watch ‘L.A. Ink’ on TLC, Thursdays at 10/9 Central.
