Jesse James has confirmed that his engagement to Kat Von D is back on! In a recent interview James told People, “Sometimes you are only given one chance in life. It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance.” He went on to say, “I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her [Von D]. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”
The couple had been dating for less than a year when they originally got engaged last January. In July they called off the engagement, with James citing long-distance as the cause of their breakup.
Less than a month later, James and Von D tweeted photos of themselves embracing. James’ picture was accompanied by the words “para siempre,” which means “forever” in Spanish. Kat Von D has also been spotted wearing her Neil Lane four-carat-plus engagement ring again.
Von D did not take the split well, as she even walked out of an interview with ‘Good Day L.A.’ after they aired a clip of her and Jesse. The footage was taken from her TLC show ‘LA Ink,’ which was cancelled earlier this week.
Though the couple originally planned to get married this summer, no date has been announced.
