Actor Bill Murray recently showed up, unannounced, to a kickball game at New York City’s Roosevelt Island.

Marina Cockenberg, who works for College Humor, has a friend on the kickball team. They explained that Murray showed up, played for a little while, posed for a photo (above), hugged someone’s mom, and went off with his three young sons.

While this may seem like a once-in-a-lifetime thing for the unassuming players, fans of Murray know this is just how the actor rolls in his every day life.

Murray frequently pops up anywhere he likes, it seems, and people are more than ready to welcome him into their activities. His legendary status as a party crasher in Brooklyn continues to grow by the month, ending up at young 20-somethings parties in popular areas like Williamsburg.

In the past, the star has also showed up playing the act of an impromptu bartender at previous SXSW Music Festivals in Austin, TX alongside members of the Wu-Tang Clan, as well as sliding into home plate at Wrigley Field in Chicago, and hugging random strangers explaining that, “No one will ever believe you.”

Legend.
