X-Factor USA host Steve Jones has pretended to storm off the set of ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ during a recent appearance on the show.
ET have published a short clip from the upcoming show, where Jones asks his long-time friend Morgan to do him a “huge favor” and let him end the interview with an angry walk out of the program.
In pretending to walk out, Jones was parodying Christine O’Donnell’s walk out of the show two month prior after she objected to being asked about her views about gay marriage; a subject that she has been known to be particularly vocal about in the past.
Jones teased his Twitter followers last week about the interview by tweeting: “For the record I’m not ashamed to admit I stormed off @piersmorgan tonight. His line of questing was highly offensive. You judge #thisfriday.”
At the end of the interview, after offering praise to the X-Factor judges, Jones says: “I always wanted to do this, and I’ve seen it done on this show before now. Can I storm off? But you have to offend me first, like say my hair is stupid or my teeth are too big.”
Almost immediately, Morgan responded with the question”Steve, Is it true your plaster cast is three inches tall?” – Referring to the plaster cast Jones made of his P***s while presenting ’99 Things to do before you die’.
Jones then stood up in an angry jest, removed his microphone clip and pack and threw it on the table, joking: “Ya know what? If you think I haven’t got better things to do than sit around here with you abusing me on this show… to hell with this jazz!”
Quick to have the last word, Morgan then replied: “Shut the door on your way out!”
