Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber treated Rio De Janeiro’s die-hard fans to the first performance of his forthcoming Christmas single‘Mistletoe’ on October 5, sending the crowd into a wild and uncontrollable frenzy.

Bieber introduced the song to an already hyped audience, stating: “This is the first time anywhere in the world that I’ve sang this so this is special. This is just for you.”

The star teased screaming fans, singing: “I don’t want to miss out on the Holiday, but I can’t stop staring at your face, I should be running in the winter snow, but I’ll be under the mistletoe.”

The seventeen-year-old announced he was working on a Christmas album in August, stating it would feature both festive classics and Bieber originals.

In addition to ‘Mistletoe,’ Bieber will sing a rendition of Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’ collaborating with the superstar herself.

Also confirmed to appear on the album are Boyz II Men and Usher, ensuring the festive album will become a Christmas hit.

The album is due to be released November 1, however ‘Mistletoe’ is available to download from October 18, giving fans plenty of time to memorize the song in time for the festive season.
