MTV have just announced the nominees for the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Due to take place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany this year’s EMAs will pit many of the biggest artists in the world against each other, with many receiving multiple nods. Rihanna and Taylor Swift are currently up for six EMAs, leading the nominations at this year’s ceremony.

The 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards will air on MTV2 at 11pm on Sunday November 11.
