Jennifer Lopez broke down during an emotional performance last night, forcing her to leave the stage, and the 10,000 strong audience to regain her composure.

The superstar was headlining at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Connecticut for the venue’s 15th anniversary celebrations. Following an acoustic version of her 1999 hit, ‘If You Had My Love’ the singer announced, “That’s the first song I wrote about love. And this is the last song I wrote about love. A lot has happened since then.”

The 42-year-old then sung ‘Until It Beats No More’ during which pairs of dancers took to the stage, including look-alikes of the singers former love interests, P. Diddy, Chris Judd, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony.

J-Lo then tearfully told the audience, “I took a trip down memory lane.” Visibly upset, the singer received a standing ovation before leaving the stage to gather her emotions.

Her emotion is unsurprising considering her turbulent romantic past. ‘The All I Have’ singer announced her split from Marc Anthony, her husband of seven years and the father of her two children, back in July. She has also had a high profile relationship with Ben Affleck, and was briefly married to chorographer, Chris Judd.
