Bon Iver has given their fans more to look forward to by debuting the music video for their song, “Calgary.” The track is the first single from their new self-titled album, Bon Iver.

NPR is teaming up with the group and is currently streaming the album, in full, on their website.

With the success of their debut album, ‘For Emma, Forever Ago,’ there has been a lot of anticipation for the group’s new album.

While fans of the group are able to recognize Bon Iver’s unique sound, “Calgary” is edging itself away from Emma. Most of the songs on Emma were easier to interpret compared to this imaginative and haunting music video.

Band leader and mastermind, Justin Vernon described the album to Rolling Stone as one that will be “an ambitious musical departure from the first album.” He also shared that each song on the new album represents a different place while incorporating varying musical sounds like heavy metal, horns, and a saxophone.

Between albums, Bon Iver has worked with Kanye West on a few tracks for his most recent album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.’
