The first official trailer for ‘The Guilt Trip’ has been released.
The new comedy stars Seth Rogen as Andy Brewster, a struggling inventor living in Los Angeles who has to go on the road to pitch his new idea. Before he leaves he asks his mother, played by Barbra Streisand, if she’d like to come along with him.
From the trailer, it appears Andy has a ulterior motive for bringing his mother along; helping her get back in the dating world.
The trailer takes an embarrassing look at what 3000 miles and eight days with an older son and mother together would look like, with accidental stops at strip clubs and disappointing landmarks along the way.
The Anne Fletcher directed comedy also stars Yvonne Strahovski, Colin Hanks, Casey Wilson, Danny Pudi, and Adam Scott.
‘The Guilt Trip’ is set for release on Christmas Day.
