Florida is a great place to live and work. There are many things to do in Florida, but we’re going to focus on the best areas for entertainment. We’ll go over some of the histories of each area and then talk about what types of entertainment you can find there today.

1) Downtown Miami

Downtown is the heart of Miami, Florida. It’s home to many great events throughout the year and has plenty of entertainment available today. There are art festivals, music festivals, food festivals, and more in Downtown Miami! One should also check out Bayside Marketplace (Biscayne Blvd) for shopping. If you’re looking for a good workout facility, you can visit the Miami Beach Regional Library for a workout.

The history of Downtown is very interesting as well! In 1925, Dredgers began dredging Biscayne Bay in order to create new land on which they could build hotels and resorts. This would become known as Miami Beach. For most of its history, the heart of this area was the Art Deco District. Today, there are over 800 blocks to explore in this district alone.

2) St. Petersburg

St Petersburg is the third-largest city in Florida! It’s known for its world-class museums and piers and other forms of entertainment like breweries, bars, restaurants, and more! The history here goes back to 1897 when Henry B. Plant built the first railroad into St. Pete, which connected it to Tampa (a bigger city).

In today’s day and age, you can find many breweries around St. Petersburg, including Cycle Brewing (beer), Green Bench Brewery & Side Project Cellar (both beer), and The Brewhouse Gallery (coffee/espresso drinks). There are also plenty of bars to check out Downtowns, such as R Bar, The Bends, and Ulele.

3) Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach is the most southeastern city in Florida! It’s home to beaches and Ron Jon Surf Shop, which has been around for over 50 years. There are many surfboards throughout this area and shops and restaurants, including Brevard Zoo- a great place to visit if you have kids or love animals.

The history of this area goes back to the early 1900s when Henry M. Flagler (he built the Florida East Coast Railway) had a hotel made in Cocoa Beach, which he called Casa Marina Hotel- it was destroyed by a hurricane in 1928 and rebuilt into what we know today as Ron Jon Surf Shop! In 1983, Ron Jon opened his first shop, and it’s been growing ever since.

In conclusion, Florida has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment. Downtown Miami is the heart of this area, but you can find plenty of other areas with great entertainment as well.
