Twitter lit up earlier today amidst rumors Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are planning to get engaged.
18-year-old Bieber and 19-year-old Gomez were reportedly seen shopping for diamond wedding rings at a number of major jewelry stores.
A source also told the Chicago Sun-Times that the ‘Baby’ singer was planning on popping the question to Gomez ‘very soon’.
The pair were first romantically linked by the press in 2009, however it was only in last year that Gomez finally admitted to dating the teen pop sensation.
Bieber has already expressed that he would like to get married and start a family while he’s still young, saying “Well by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family… I want to be a young dad.” during an interview with Women’s Wear Daily.
Justin Bieber’s next album, ‘Believe’, is due for release in exactly two months, on June 19, 2012.
