The long-awaited premiere of the newest Marvel film, “Black Panther,” had many people excited. The movie premiered at a special event on Thursday, October 27th, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The venue was filled with A-list stars who looked stunning in their spectacular outfits as they came to support the African-themed film. Rihanna was among the attendees and it was hard not to notice her. With a bit of time off after giving birth in May, she took to the red carpet with a bang!

Rihanna has never failed to impress us with her style. From her outfits to her hair, she has always been a trendsetter, and this time was no different. The star arrived in a stunning dress that was both classy and edgy. The dress was designed by Rick Owens, who is well-known for creating iconic pieces with a modern twist. The dress was made of khaki-colored material and had sparkly embellishments that were well-distributed throughout. Rihanna wore elbow-length gloves and had a statement diamond ear cuff to match. The look was completed with cape-like draping that furthered the edgy vibe. Her makeup was perfect and matched her dress. This made the look more cohesive and helped keep the focus on her dress. Her baby daddy, A$AP Rocky, also present at the premiere, looked dapper in a matching oversized khaki jacket and pants and a black T-shirt underneath.

Rihanna announced on her social media pages that she would be making her comeback to the music industry after six years with a song titled “Lift Me Up.” The song was written by Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna, Tems, and Ryan Coogler. After Tems spoke with Ryan Coogler, the director and co-writer of “Black Panther,” she understood what he wanted the song to entail. From Coogler’s direction, Tems was inspired to write a song that expresses how much she misses the people she valued and lost. Tems said that Rihanna has always inspired her and was honored to hear her idol sing a song she co-wrote. The song is a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who had the leading role in the first installment of “Black Panther.” Chadwick Boseman lost his life in 2020 after fighting colon cancer for four years. “Black Panther” is set to be released in theaters on November 11th.
