With every disturbing tragedy there are talks of creating a movie of the events. The trail and story of alleged child murderer, Casey Anthony is next on that list with casting directors keeping their eye on actress Kristen Stewart to play the disconnected Anthony.
Stewart, who has a wide range of films under her belt including the ‘Twilight’ series and the Jodie Foster thriller, ‘The Panic Room,’ not only physically resembles Anthony but also is capable of masking her emotions.
Stewart is frequently poked fun at for seeming very bored and awkward in person by critics but has proven she can perform on screen — Stewart wowed audiences as a troubled and mute teenager in the movie, ‘Speak.’
Anthony is on trial for the murder of her two-year-old daughter Caylee who was last seen in June 2008 and was found in November 2008 near the Anthony family home. Anthony has maintained her innocence throughout the ordeal.
The closing arguments for the Casey Anthony trail will begin Sunday, but that isn’t stopping writers for penning a script for a possible movie.
