Brooke Hogan has come out in full defense of her father, Hulk Hogan, with a touching poem.

After the news of the WWE ‘s firing of Hulk Hogan broke this morning and lit the entertainment world on fire, many were wondering what brought this shocking act about.

Although the WWE itself refused to comment in regards to this news, TMZ reported that it was due to Hogan launching into a racist tirade while talking about his daughters music career. In the video he stated that:

“I’d rather if she (Brooke) was going to f**k some n****r,” Hogan reportedly stated. “I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n****r worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!”

Now Brooke Hogan herself has decided to speak out by publishing a poem she wrote, on Facebook titled “If You Knew My Father”

She introduces us to the poem with a touching: “If you knew the dad I knew/you’d know his tender heart, /He’d never want to hurt his fans/or family from the start.”

She then proceeds to state that all fathers have done things that they feel regret towards with the heartfelt lines, “I bet your father/or someone that you love /Maybe regrets something/ they wish they’d never done.”
