Taylor Swift is no stranger to breaking records, but she outdid herself at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The pop superstar won nine awards, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year for her smash hit “Anti-Hero”. Swift’s “Anti-Hero” video, which she co-directed with Chancler Haynes and Rina Yang, features a dystopian storyline where she leads a rebellion against a tyrannical regime. The video has over 1 billion views on YouTube and showcases Swift’s creative vision and cinematic flair.
Swift’s Midnights album, which she released last year on the same night as the VMAs, is one of her most successful and acclaimed works to date. The album features collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Halsey, The Weeknd, and more. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
Swift is currently on her Eras Tour, which celebrates her entire discography and features songs from all nine of her studio albums. The tour has been praised by fans and critics alike for its production value, fan service, and musical diversity. Swift will resume the tour in November with shows in South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the U.K.
