It has been years since Christina Aguilera has released an album. However, she has promised that she will be releasing a new album soon. She talked about the new album on her Instagram account. Christina was responding to a meme that jokingly asked when her new album was coming out.
The last album that Christina released was entitled “Lotus.” The album had the hit singles “Just a Fool” and “Your Body.” This album turned out to be Christina’s least-successful album. The album managed to reach number 7 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Even though Christina has not released a new album since 2012, she has released a few singles. In 2013, she recorded a song called “We Remain.” The song appeared on “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” soundtrack.
She also appeared on Lady Gaga’s song “Do What U Want.” In June 2016, Christina released a single called “Change.”. The song was released two months after the tragic shooting in 2016. The song was dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the tragic shooting.
Christina’s last public performance was at the 2017 American Music Awards. She paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston. Christina stated that Whitney was one of the singers that she looked up to. She did covers of several of Whitney’s songs including “I’m Every Woman” “Run To You” and “I Will Always Love You.”
Christina posted a video message on Twitter after the performance. She thanked the American Music Awards for letting her perform. She also thanked the Houston family for helping a little girl’s dreams come true. Additionally, Christina stated that she hoped that she made Whitney proud.
Christina has also been working on her acting career. She will be starring in a film called “Zoe.” This is a romantic comedy that will be released in 2018.
