Long-known for her affinity of elaborate stage set ups, costume designs, and pain-staking choreography, Madonna’s reputation for short performances wasn’t helped after her Paris show Thursday night.

The pop legend was slated to perform at an “intimate” venue for a small number of fans as a last-minute addition to her current tour. After fans realized she hadn’t exited the stage for a costume change, the Paris crowd began to actively boo Madonna, demanding refunds for the show. Tickets ranged from 80-280 € ($98-$350 U.S.) for the show that reportedly lasted from 10:15 p.m. (EST) to 11, and was also broadcast on YouTube.

It’s not the only sour reputation Madonna has earned during her current stay in France. In an earlier performance, Madonna had used film footage on stage of The National Front leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika imposed on her forehead. The party, which had been previously accused of anti-Semitic rhetoric, threatened to sue the singer if she were to use the footage during her France shows.

Madonna will continue her European tour supporting her MDNA album, with a final stop in Nice, France on August 21st.
