Jill Scott has unveiled details of her next album.

Slated for release on July 24, Scott described the album as “classic Philly soul meets country rhythm served with captivating storytelling.”

Titled Woman, the record will be her fifth studio album and serve as the Grammy award-winning soul songstress’ début on the Atlantic Records label.

Scott, a Philadelphia native, acted as executive producer for the album alongside producer Aaron Pearce and her long-time collaborator Andre Harris, who was behind two of her biggest hits “The Way” and “A Long Walk.”

The album is Scott’s first since 2011’s The Light of the Sun.

The first single from the album, “Fool’s Gold,” debuted in the Billboard Adult R&B Top 10 when it was released last month.

In celebration of the album’s release, which also coincides with the 15th anniversary of her iconic début album Who Is Jill Scott?, Scott will embark on a 25-stop U.S. tour; hitting Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New York, Austin, and many others before wrapping up on August 28 in Phoenix, AZ.
