Paramount have released a new trailer for upcoming blockbuster, ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’.
The two and a half minute teaser is introduced by the films director Brad Bird and depicts IMF secret agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team on the run after being disavowed by the U.S. Government.
The new trailer comes just days after a private screening for journalists in Los Angeles where the reasons for releasing the film 5-days early to IMAX theatres was made clear.
Those in attendance attest that the film was made for the IMAX theater. The trailer features a clip of Cruise scaling the tallest building in the world, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, which was made to make you feel as if you are actually there if watched in IMAX.
Cruise’s co-stars Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, and Simon Pegg , who made only a brief appearance in the last trailer, are prominently featured in this teaser.
‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ can be seen at IMAX theatres from December 16, with general release to theatres across the US from December 21, and UK from December 26, 2011.
