Priyanka Chopra Jonas turned 40 on Wednesday and her husband Nick Jonas showered her with love in an Instagram post. “Happy birthday, my love,” the 26-year-old singer wrote alongside a slideshow of photos of the Quantico actress. “You are the jewel of July. You are stunning inside and out. You make every day an adventure and I can’t wait to see all that you will do in this incredible chapter of your life.”
Chopra Jonas replied in the comments, “Thank you, baby. Love you.”
The post comes just a day after the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary. On Tuesday, Jonas posted a series of photos from their lavish Hindu ceremony, writing, “Two years ago today we took our vows… life has never been the same.”
“Happy anniversary, my beautiful wife,” he continued. “I love you more every day.”
Chopra Jonas also commemorated the special day with a post on her Instagram Story, sharing a photo of her wedding dress and writing, “Two years ago today was the best day of my life.”
The couple wed in two lavish ceremonies in December 2018, first exchanging traditional Christian vows at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, followed by a Hindu ceremony the next day.
In May, they celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with a special trip to the Jonas family’s compound in New Jersey.
“We decided to go back and sort of celebrate where it all began,” Nick Jonas said of the trip during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “And my parents were so sweet—they set up this beautiful room for us with a bunch of roses and candles and light.”
“It was really nice to just be at home and celebrate each other,” he added.
The couple has been spending quarantine together at their home in Los Angeles. In June, they celebrated Chopra Jonas’ birthday with a special dinner party surrounded by family and friends.
“It was so nice because we missed out on doing something for her birthday when it actually happened,” Nick Jonas said of the celebration. “So this was kind of a make-up for that and it was great.”
“It was a lot of fun,” he added. “She’s my best friend, so I love spending time with her.” The couple is good-looking credit to the photos taken during their birthday cerebration.
