People Magazine reported earlier today that 24-year-old singer-songwriter Adele has given birth to her first son.
Adele had her first child with her current boyfriend, 38-year-old Simon Konecki, who has a daughter from his first marriage.
No details are currently available on the name expected for the child.
The pregnancy was a relatively quiet topic, with rumors spilled back on June 29 when Adele wrote on her blog, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”
The news comes shortly after Adele released her newest song, the theme to the new James Bond film ‘Skyfall.’ However, even during the release of her newest single back on October 5, Adele was laying low awaiting the birth.
No rumors of whether or not Adele and Konecki are planning to wed are available.
