For the sixth time in the illustrious career of Queens, New York rapper Nas, his record has landed at number one on the Billboard album sales chart.

His newest album, Life Is Good, is the first studio album released exclusively by Nas since 2008’s Untitled project. Between his solo work, Nas famously collaborated with Damien Marley (son of legend Bob Marley) for their Distant Relatives album in 2010. The two toured for a lengthy period of time before and after the album’s release, seemingly putting Nas’ solo career on hold.

Life Is Good replaced Zac Brown Band’Uncaged at the top spot, which had a staggering 234,000 sales in its first week, but only 78,000 in the following week – less than half of Nas’ sales. Last week, Uncaged kept Frank Ocean‘s studio debut Channel Orange off the top spot in the charts.

The rapper has been on a short tour promoting the album throughout the U.S. and Europe, with a final show set for Holmdel, New Jersey on September 2nd.
