Former child star Jaleel White, best know for his role as Steve Urkel in American sitcom ‘Family Matters’, will guest star alongside Hugh Laurie in the season premiere of ‘House’.

The last season of ‘House’ ended with the Dr. Gregory House crashing his car into the home of his boss and former love interest Lisa Cuddy.

Placed in jail for his actions, the good doctor will cross paths with White, who will act as a well connected fellow inmate, showing House the ropes behind bars and helping him get his hands on contraband.

34-year-old White has made guest appearances on a number of TV shows in recent years, including ‘Psych’ and ‘Boston Legal’, while also starring 2006 hit movie ‘Dreamgirls,’ alongside recent children’s movie ‘Judy Moody & The Not Bummer Summer.’

Michael Pare, of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ is set to play a prison warden in the House season premiere also.

Between seasons, Hugh Laurie spent time in deep south of the United States to record a blues album, entitled ‘Let Them Talk.’

House returns to Fox for the Season 8 premiere, entitled ’20 Vicodin,’ on Monday, October 3 at 9/8c.
