We love music. We love hearing new music. We especially love hearing about great artists that we usually wouldn’t have heard about, and it makes our job 100 times easier if you just send us your shit instead of waiting for us to randomly stumble across your music on SoundCloud.
So, here’s the deal:
Please include the following with every music submission:
- The music (You’d be surprised…)
- An artist bio
- A one-sheet / details about what you’re sending us
- A few high-resolution images of the artist
- Any other interesting information you think may be relevant
We have a strong preference for downloads so unless your cover art was done by Picasso himself, you should be emailing us a link to download your music. Streaming links are also problematic, for many reasons, so don’t bother sending a SoundCloud (or, god forbid, ReverbNation) link since we’d just delete that shit anyway.
We can only accept email attachments under 25MB, so use a file hosting service such as DropBox, MediaFire, Google Drive, or WeTransfer to share direct download links of your work if you need to.
While we try listen to everything that comes in, we get A LOT of music every week so unfortunately not everyone will get a response. If you don’t hear from us it doesn’t necessarily mean we didn’t like your work, so don’t be discouraged from sending future releases our way.
