Hot on the heels of the release of their latest album ‘Mylo Xyloto’, Coldplay have revealed their cover of Rihanna‘s chart-topping hit, ‘We Found Love’.

The band, who look set to dominate the Billboard Album chart this week, stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to promote their latest release when they were asked to perform a cover of the Bajan star’s latest hit.

Traditionally, on the Live Lounge, artists will be invited to perform acoustic covers of other chart-topping artist’s songs for popular UK radio station Radio 1. The recordings have since given rise to a yearly album release of Live Lounge sessions.

For the acoustic session, the synths played by Calvin Harris were replaced by Piano chords played by Coldplay front-man Chris Martin.
