With one week to go before Ashton Kutcher makes his debut appearance on ‘Two and a Half Men’, CBS have teased fans by revealing the show’s new title sequence.

Ashton Kutcher takes Angus T. Jones’ (Jake Harper) former position, singing directly into the microphone, while the seventeen-year-old fills Charlie Sheen’s old spot. However the overall style of the sequence remains much the same.

Sheen was fired from the show in March following a public meltdown in which he publicly insulted show producer Chuck Lorre. In a bold move, CBS decided to continue onto the shows ninth season, killing off Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper.

Kutcher was confirmed as Sheen’s replacement in May having signed a one-year contract at $700,000 per episode. According to CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler, Kutcher will play Walden Schmidt; “an internet billionaire with a broken heart.”

Speaking to TV Guide Kutcher admitted, “Moving into somebody else’s house is a scary thing. Who knew what the dynamic would be and how everybody would feel… I wanted to make sure it was comfortable for everybody else and for myself. And I think we’ve already found that.”

‘Two and a Half Men’ makes its long awaited return to CBS on Monday, September 19 at 9/8c.
