While rumors surrounding the vacancies on American Idol continue to spill out, the U.S. version of Simon Cowell’s X Factor has a few popular rumors floating around as well.

TMZ reported that Canadian pop-superstar Justin Bieber will be working alongside L.A. Reid to help him mentor his group in this year’s competition. The rumors were solidified when paparazzi spotted Bieber entering Reid’s Hollywood home yesterday to help mentor the over-25 group.

L.A. Reid later appeared to confirm the rumors with the heavily suggestive tweet: “Great day with my guys! @justinbieber @scooterbraun @TheXFactorUSA.”

Nick Jonas, who had been previously rumored for American Idol, will apparently be helping star Demi Lovato with her group when the final 16 contestants are selected for the show. Rumors of Jonas’ involvement, however, do not take him out of the running for a judge spot on American Idol, which he is believed to be in the running for.

It has already been confirmed that Reid is working with the over-25 group, with sources suggesting Lovato will handle singers between the ages of 12-16, and Britney Spears will work with 17-24-year-olds.
