The Glee kids tackle Carly Rae Jepsen‘s hit “Call Me Maybe” in a new extended clip from the upcoming season premiere.
The clip features Brittany (Heather Morris), Blaine (Darren Criss), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), and Wade “Unique” Adams (Alex Newell) fighting for the spotlight as they belt out the summer anthem.
Artie (Kevin McHale) watches from the audience, clipboard in hand, as the singers vie for his approval. It seems that they are competing to step into Rachel’s (Lea Michele) star position.
The clip features a stripped down set and an orchestra provides the background music to the battle over who will be top dog this season.
Tensions will be running high in the latest season of the Fox musical. A recently released clip set the stage for a feud between Rachel and guest star Kate Hudson.
This clip shows that the Glee kids are definitely ready to fight for their place in the spotlight.
Season four of Glee kicks off with an episode titled “The New Rachel” on September 13 at 9/8c on Fox.
