American actor Ashton Kutcher has quite a repertoire. His initial claim-to-fame was his time spent as Michael Kelso on the television hit ‘That 70s Show.’ However, the rest of his career has been filled with leading movie roles.

That is about to change as the 33-year-old is set to join John Cryer and Angus T. Jones on the ninth season of ‘Two and a Half Men.’

The duo was originally paired with Charlie Sheen, who played Charlie Harper, but he was fired after infamously ranting about the show’s producers. Since then, he has been in the spotlight for his drug addiction.

After hearing the announcement that Kutcher will be replacing Sheen on the show, many have wondered how the switch will be made. CBS Entertainment chief Nina Tassler has recently come out with some of the details.

At the Television Critics Association Press Tour, Tassler revealed Kutcher will be playing “an internet billionaire with a broken heart.” The character’s name is Walden Schmidt. As for his connection to Cryer and Jones’ characters, he is set to buy Charlie Harper’s house.

According to rumors, Sheen will be killed off in the shows the season opener. The opener will be split into two parts, the first of which airs September 19.
