Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars will be the next stars to host ‘Saturday Night Live.’

Applegate, who last hosted in 1993, will appear on October 13 while Bruno Mars, who previously appeared on the show as a performer, will both host and perform on October 20.

NBC released the news earlier today, announcing plans for the episodes after ‘Skyfall‘ star Daniel Craig hosts on October 6 with musical guest Muse.

Passion Pit will be the musical guests during Applegate’s October 13 episode .

Applegate currently stars alongside Will Arnett and former SNL cast member Maya Rudolph in the NBC show ‘Up All Night,’ which aired its premiere September 21 to a paltry 3.1 million U.S. households.

The announcement of Mars’ hosting duties comes before the December 11 release of his sophomore album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox.’ Only one single from the upcoming album, “Locked Out of Heaven,” has been announced; however, it’s not yet known in Mars will take the album in a new musical direction.

‘Saturday Night Live’ airs at 11:35 p.m., Saturday nights on NBC.
