There’s a new hipster in town. Chloe Sevigny will be visiting Portlandia in the upcoming season.

The indie actress, who is best known for her role as one of Bill Paxton‘s three wives on the HBO series Big Love, will appear on the upcoming season of the Emmy-nominated comedy Portlandia, confirms IFC. Sevigny has been cast as Fred and Carrie’s new roommate.

The Academy Award nominated actress will be very busy during the upcoming TV season. In addition to being part of the quirky town on the third season of Portlandia, Sevigny is also set to appear on season two of American Horror Story: Asylum.

It is likely Sevigny will portray a patient in the asylum, as she will be playing a character that goes by the name Shelly the Nymphomaniac.

Portandia‘s season 3 will air in January 2013 while the premiere date for American Horror Story: Asylum has not yet been announced.
