Fox have released a promotional video of ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele and her on-screen mother performing a duet of ‘Somewhere’.

The song in their mother-daughter duet comes from the classic 1957 Broadway musical hit, West Side Story.

The episode features Rachel Berry’s (Lea Michele) biological mother Shelby Corcoran, played by Idina Menzel, returning to the show for most of the current third season of ‘Glee’ as a teacher at McKinley High.

Menzel made her debut in the the first season of ‘Glee’, appearing as the coach of rival Glee club Vocal Adrenaline before revealing that she is in fact Rachel Berry’s biological mother, having acted as the surrogate mother to Rachel’s two gay dads.

Michele and Menzel have had numerous past duets in the show, including ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and ‘Poker Face’.

Glee is due to air every Tuesday at 8/7c on Fox.
