Alongside Muse, which contributed “Survival,” the official song of the 2012 London Olympics, English electronic legends The Chemical Brothers have also added a song for the event.

“Theme For Velodrome,” which will be played during every Olympic cycling event, comes off as a rich Kraftwerk-inspired march, unlike the aesthetic bombast of Muse’s “Survival.” Group member Tom Rowlands, who is an avid cyclist, said that he wanted to recreate the “sense of speed, pace, and drama” with the song in an interview with The Guardian. In the 2008 Olympics, Britain was the most successful nation in the event taking home seven gold medals.

The Chemical Brothers and Muse aren’t the only notable acts contributing material to the games. English rapper Dizzee Rascal, Delphic, and Elton John vs. Pnau are also due to make their musical services available to the Olympiad.

The 2012 Olympic Games will officially begin Friday, July 27.
