Maybe another big hit will ease her romantic woes, although dating a Kennedy probably doesn’t hurt.

Taylor Swift‘s latest ode to love gone bad, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ the first single from her upcoming album ‘Red’, looks like its going to be a hit.

If the song get as many downloads as industry sources expect it to, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” could earn the largest debut for a digital song by a female artist. If Swift gets more than 448,00 downloads she will surpass the reigning download queen, Lady Gaga, who currently holds the record for her single “Born This Way”.

Swift is also sitting pretty when it comes to radio play. The new single was released on the radio late Monday and is already among the last seven days’ 40 most-played titles across all formats, with 30 million plays in less than 24 hours, according to Nielsen.

Swift has sold 17.8 million albums in the U.S. since she appeared on the scene with her self-titled debut album, and her numbers continue to rise. 2010’s ‘Speak Now’ was the third best-selling album of the year.

The singer keeps fans guessing as to which of her famous boyfriends inspired her songs of love and heartbreak, so its only a matter of time before everyone starts to wonder who Swift is “never ever getting back together” with.

Conor Kennedy better treat her right or he might just find himself the subject of a hit song.
