Taylor Swift gave fans a taste of the next single from her upcoming album, ‘Red’ on Good Morning America this morning.

Swift released a teaser of the track “Begin Again” and announced that it will be available on iTunes tonight at midnight.

“It’s actually a song about when you’ve gotten through a really bad relationship and you finally dust yourself off and go on that first date after a horrible break-up, and the vulnerability that goes along with all of that,” she said.

The country-pop sweetheart is certainly not shy about expressing her feelings about her personal relationships through her songs. Her last single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (WANEGBT),” documented the end of a relationship, while “Begin Again” strikes a more hopeful note.

Swift recently revealed the origins of “WANEGBT” to Billboard. The song stemmed from a studio run-in with an ex’s friend who was under the assumption that the couple was getting back together. Swift set the friend, and the rest of the world, straight with the hit single.

The twangy “Begin Again” takes Swift back to her country roots after the poppy sounds that characterized “WANEGBT.”

The singer’s fourth studio album, ‘Red,’ is due out on October 22.
