UK man band Take That are planning to take a break from music following the record breaking success of their recent ‘Progress’ tour, where they performed to more than 1.6 million fans.

Due to exhaustion and conflicting commitments the band are reported to be taking a two-year break. Gary Barlow is currently busy with his role as a judge on the UK X Factor, while Robbie Williams intends to concentrate on his solo music career.

However The Mirror has reported a series of arguments were influential in the decision to split post-tour. An insider told the British tabloid, “At first it was a fairy tale, having Robbie back and being a five-piece again, but a few arguments and their touring schedule made it hard going.

“Howard, Jason and Mark all said they were shattered at the end of the tour and are not sure they’ll be able to go through it all again at their age.”

An official Take That spokesperson has denied the rumors, insisting, “The band are all on great terms. They are on a well deserved break at the moment, taking a post-tour holiday.”
