Susan Justice has been signed to Capitol Records.

The musically diverse singer, who hails from Aruba, is better known by real name Susan Cagle, the moniker used while she was signed to Columbia Records.

The artist got her start performing in train and subway stations across New York City, under the city’s ‘Music Under New York’ program. It was during a subway performance that she was spotted by a record producer, who introduced her to the president of Columbia Records.

Justice’s 2007 debut under Columbia, ‘The Subway Recordings’ was a collection of live sessions recorded live at Times Square and Grand Central Station – an ode to her time performing in stations across New York.

Justice is now gearing up for her first release under Capitol, ‘Eat Dirt’, which was produced by award-winning Producer/Songwriter Toby Gad, who is best known for his work with Beyonce, Fergie, and Alicia Keys.

Of Justice, Gad said: “Susan is a real artist who can do it all… She can simply pick up a guitar, command your attention.”

Susan Justice’s Capitol debut ,’Eat Dirt’, will be released early 2012.
