Mel B has revealed the Spice Girls are planning a reunion for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Scary Spice let slip on Australian TV that the iconic girl group will reform for a one-off concert at Buckingham Palace on June 4, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s reign.

When asked about her plans for the future, Mel B told Australian talkshow Sunrise: “Well, we do have the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee coming up. Did I really say that?”

The 36-year-old singer quickly changed the subject after spilling the beans, however the singer did confirm the plans to the show’s producers afterwards, according to The Sun, who say she told them: “I am going to be in such strife for saying that… It’s all so totally bloody top-secret still.”

This news comes hot on the heels of rumors that the Spice Girls will be performing at the London 2012 Olympics. Early last year Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell revealed that she would “love to see” the Spice Girls reunite for the Olympics.

During the interview, Mel B also told Sunrise: “I’m always down for a Spice Girls reunion. For me to get my Scary hair on and my big platforms. Any time! I’m a Spice Girl through and through.”
