Rapper Future decided to throw a free concert for his fans in Los Angeles as the last leg of his free  “Salute to the Fans” tour.

The only problem being that the venue could only seat 500 people; Future, however, being at the peak of his fame and fresh off the release of his album Dirty Sprite 2 would obviously attract much more than 500 fans. This conundrum led to fans lining up outside the venue from times as early as 9 a.m. for a spot in this midnight concert.

Tensions began to rise at 1pm as wristbands to enter the venue were handed out and the length of the crowd had grown and extended from The Roxy, past Sunset Boulevard. Thankfully despite the arrival of police with riot gear and riot guns, things managed to maintain calm without note of incident.

Hopefully if the “F*ck Up Some Commas” rapper decides to host another free concert he’ll perform at a much larger venue, as his fanbase continues to grow at an exponential rate.

Update: Due to the swarming crowd, the street of Sunset Boulevard was shut down and the concert was canceled
